The Ukrainian game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl took the first place in the PC Gaming Show rating, receiving the status of the most anticipated game.
This computer game is developed by the Ukrainian company GSC Game World. It was recognized among more than 130 competitors that participated in the PC Gaming Show rating.
During his speech at the event dedicated to the rating announcement, CEO of GSC Game World Yevhen Hryhorovych shared his impressions of the game creation, calling it “the biggest and most complex in our life”.
The organizers of the event identified S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl as an ambitious project from the very beginning of its development. During the time of work on the game, it has evolved into an “ultimatum challenge for developers”. This indicates that during the development process, complex tasks and technical challenges arose that required a lot of effort and creativity from the development team to successfully overcome them.
In addition, Yevhen Hryhorovych emphasized not only the technical challenges but also the importance of the game itself for the entire development team. He described the process of creating the game as particularly important and dear to the team, even under great stress. This shows how much the developers put their hearts and souls into the project, considering it not just a task but an important stage in their creative journey.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
