In an interview with Forbes, businessman Maksym Krippa shared plans that could significantly expand the popularity of the franchise. According to him, preliminary negotiations with representatives of the streaming service are currently underway to adapt the legendary gaming universe in the series format.

So far, there is no official confirmation of the start of production. But this idea has aroused considerable interest among fans of the game. If the agreements with Netflix are successful, the project could become one of the world’s most high-profile series adaptations.

The investor expressed confidence that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has a huge potential for further development and expansion of the franchise. According to Maksym Krippa, the team’s immediate plans include the release of at least two DLCs that should add new storylines and improve the gaming experience. In addition, the developers are actively working on the introduction of a multiplayer mode, which will be a significant addition to the game.

Maksym Krippa drew parallels between the prospects of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and the success of the Polish “The Witcher”, which became a symbol of national pride. The Witcher has achieved impressive results: more than 50 million copies sold, a cult series on Netflix. And a whole series of books that have gained a new wave of popularity thanks to this project.

Speaking about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Krippa emphasized that the game showed impressive results at the initial stage. More than a million copies were sold in the first 36 hours after the release, which indicates a great interest from players around the world. The investor is convinced that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 can not only repeat the success of The Witcher. But also become a long-term project that will influence the development of the gaming industry.

However, in a few years, despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic and the war, the team has grown sevenfold. At the time of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 release, about 470 people worked on the game.
